Our matte finishes are crafted using two distinct techniques—each adding its own unique texture and character.
The first is hand-brushing, where a fine abrasive tool is gently drawn across the surface of the piece, creating a semi-matte, subtly shimmering effect that catches the light just right.
The second is sandblasting: the jewelry is placed in a chamber where fine sand is blown against it at high pressure, resulting in a soft, uniform matte finish with a smooth, sand-like texture.
